Due to business commitments Mr Bob Howe handed over the instruction of Warwick Tae Kwon-Do School to Mr Dave Oliver and Mr Don Atkins, both then newly promoted 1st Dans! Both are now senior committee members of the T.A.G.B, and are seventh degree black belts respectively. Phil Thomas continued to train for many years at Warwick before moving to Banbury.
Shortly after moving to Banbury in the late seventies a friend of Phil's - Ian Ferguson opened a new club, and Phil continued his training with him, until Ian decided to move north to Scotland to pursue not only his Tae Kwon-Do but also his love of climbing and the outdoor life. They remain close friends to this day
Phil considers himself very fortunate to have had instruction from amongst the best professionals in the country and it's his goal to pass on this knowledge to all his students as well as incorporating new ideas. |
